Homemade beats store-bought every single time
When our founder Brigitte moved to Canada from Germany, she brought something priceless with her — generations of family baking traditions and the recipes to go with them. We started Oh Happy Bake in 2013 out of a simple love of baking and a desire to share those recipes with our new home on Vancouver Island.
Today, we bake every order fresh from our commercial kitchen in Nanaimo — Brigitte developing and perfecting the recipes, her daughter Helga bringing them to life for every order. Those same family recipes, passed down through generations, are still at the heart of everything we make — no artificial flavouring, no preservatives, no shortcuts.
