When Brigitte moved to Canada, she brought something priceless with her — generations of German baking traditions and the family recipes to go with them. She started Oh Happy Bake in 2013 out of a simple love of baking and a desire to share those recipes with her new home on Vancouver Island.
Today, Brigitte and her daughter Helga bake together out of a commercial kitchen in Nanaimo — Brigitte developing and testing recipes, Helga bringing them to life fresh for every order. Those same family recipes, passed down through generations, are still at the heart of everything they make.
